Privacy Policy
1. Who we are
DelVam Marketing Partners Inc. (“DelVam,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is a marketing agency [incorporated in California] with its principal place of business at [San Diego]. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect personal information when you visit [www.delvam.com] (the “Site”) or otherwise interact with us.
Because we operate globally, this policy is written to meet a high baseline (including the EU/UK General Data Protection Regulation) and includes additional disclosures required under US state privacy laws such as the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (together, “CCPA”).

2. The personal information we collect
Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect:
- Information you provide directly — name, business email, company, job title, phone number, and the content of any message when you fill out a contact or demo form, subscribe to our newsletter, or otherwise reach out.
- Information collected automatically — IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, referring URLs, and similar usage data, collected through cookies and similar technologies (see our Cookie Policy).
- Email engagement data — when we send you marketing or other emails, we use pixels and tracking links to detect whether the email was opened and which links were clicked. We use this to understand engagement and make our communications more relevant. You can limit this by disabling image loading in your email client or by unsubscribing.
- Information from third parties — for example, contact and firmographic data from business data providers, information from social platforms such as LinkedIn when you interact with our content, and analytics data from our service providers.
We do not intentionally collect sensitive personal information through the Site, and we ask that you not send it to us.
3. How and why we use personal information
We use personal information to:
- respond to inquiries and provide the services you request;
- send marketing communications, newsletters, and content you have signed up for (you can opt out at any time);
- measure and improve our email and marketing communications, including whether emails are opened and which links are clicked;
- operate, secure, analyze, and improve the Site;
- carry out our business, including proposals, engagements, and client relationships; and
- comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.
Legal bases (for EU/UK visitors). Where GDPR applies, we rely on: your consent (e.g., marketing emails, non-essential cookies); our legitimate interests (e.g., running and securing the Site, business development); performance of a contract; and compliance with legal obligations.
4. Our role: controller and processor
DelVam acts as a controller for personal information we collect through the Site and for our own marketing and business operations.
When we provide marketing services to clients, we may process personal information on behalf of a client — for example, data within a client’s campaign, CRM, or audience. In those cases the client is typically the controller (or, under CCPA, the “business”) and DelVam acts as a processor / service provider under the terms of our client agreement and any applicable data processing agreement. This Privacy Policy governs DelVam’s own activities and does not override the terms of a specific client engagement.
5. Job applicants and recruitment
If you apply for a role with us, or otherwise express interest in working with us (as an employee, contractor, freelancer, intern, or in a business-support role), we collect the personal information you provide — such as your name, contact details, CV or resume, work history, and any information in your application or correspondence.
We use this information to:
- assess your suitability for the role you applied for (and other roles we think may suit you);
- communicate with you about your application and the recruitment process;
- take steps toward entering into a contract with you if we proceed; and
- comply with our legal and regulatory obligations, including equal-opportunity monitoring where applicable.
Where GDPR applies, our legal bases are taking steps at your request prior to a possible contract, our legitimate interest in assessing candidates, your consent (for example, to keep your details on file for future openings), and compliance with legal obligations.
We are an equal-opportunity organization and do not discriminate on the basis of gender, race, ethnic origin, age, religion, sexual orientation, disability, or any other characteristic protected by applicable law. We keep applicant information only as long as needed for the recruitment process or, with your consent, to consider you for future roles, after which we delete or anonymize it. [Confirm applicant-data retention period with counsel.]
6. How we share personal information
We may share personal information with:
- Service providers / processors who support us — for example, [website hosting], [email/marketing platform, e.g., HubSpot/Mailchimp], [analytics, e.g., Google Analytics], [scheduling, e.g., Calendly], and [CRM]. (Confirm and complete this list.)
- Clients, where information is collected in connection with a client engagement.
- Professional advisors, and authorities, where required by law or to protect our rights.
- A successor in the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
We do not sell personal information for money. Some uses of cookies and advertising technologies may be considered “sharing” or “sale” under certain US state laws; see Section 9 and our Cookie Policy for how to opt out. (Confirm based on final ad/analytics stack.)
7. International transfers
We are based in the United States, and personal information we handle may be transferred to and processed in the US or other countries whose data protection laws may differ from those in your country. Where we transfer personal information out of the EEA or UK, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses. [Confirm mechanism with counsel.]
8. Data retention
We keep personal information only as long as necessary for the purposes described in this policy, to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements, after which we delete or anonymize it.
9. Your rights and choices
Everyone. You can opt out of marketing emails at any time using the unsubscribe link, and you can manage cookie preferences through our consent tool.
EU/UK residents (GDPR). You have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to processing of your personal information, to data portability, and to withdraw consent. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

You may also limit certain uses. We honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signal as an opt-out of sale/sharing. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.
To exercise any right, contact us at [privacy@delvam.com]. We will verify your request as required by law. You may use an authorized agent where permitted.
10. Security
We maintain reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
11. Children’s privacy

The Site may link to third-party websites and services we do not control. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version with a revised “Last updated” date.
